Wider shoulder knobs better support load in technical corners, while the knob edges on the casing move inward, and the center blocks are better staggered and spaced for a smoother transition when leaning the bike.

Meanwhile, our proprietary GRIPTON® compound enhances high-frequency damping, keeping the tire planted on the ground over both small bumps and more complex terrain. The low-frequency deflection of the rolling tire passes through unfiltered, conserving energy and maintaining high speed. Our new GRID TRAIL casing is stiffer, offering better control at lower pressures, while increasing pinch flat protection by 15% and puncture protection by 30%. At the base of this solid package, the high-damping T9 Gripton compound rebounds slowly to grip and stick to the ground for total traction and control.
