If your goal is to escape on gravel backroads, away from cars and crowds, or to open the throttle in a Gravel race, no bike does it better than our Diverge. It is simply the fastest, most capable, and perhaps the most fun bike we have ever made, offering fast and lively riding with power, yet stable and confidence-inspiring when the terrain gets tough.
From the Future Shock 1.5 and the new Gravel geometry to the category-leading wide tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything we've learned over more than 40 years of road, Gravel, and trail riding. The Diverge writes an entirely new chapter in the Gravel bike category, so you can dream of entirely new routes. It's your ultimate escape vehicle.
Gravel riding may be a "new" discipline, but our Diverge Sport Carbon has been developed with more than four decades of experience. It features our Future Shock 1.5 and a FACT 8r carbon frame for fast, safe, and comfortable riding on the road, dirt, and Gravel. With the 38mm Pathfinder Pro tires, the same rubber used on the S-Works model, you'll be ready to roll as fast and as far as you want.
With a FACT 8r carbon frame, the Diverge Sport frame is incredibly capable and light like a racing bike. The Diverge, light and agile, will take you after the KOM of your favorite climb or to conquer the highest peak of a mountain.
Speed, control, and confidence - the Future Shock 1.5 is the ideal technology for Gravel riders. With 20mm of travel, the Future Shock 1.5 is progressively tuned specifically for Gravel riding. This keeps you confident and in control, able to maintain low power and not brake on rough dirt roads and loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms, and neck rested.
We’ve thrown out the "status-quo" Gravel geometry. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we’ve ever created for a bike with a round handlebar, offering riders a bike that’s capable and stable off-road, yet remains agile and responsive on the road. We’ve extended the frame’s reach, introducing a steeper head tube and a longer fork. All of this creates incredible confidence with a planted feeling on the ground, while the shorter stem specification keeps the overall cockpit length the same. We’ve kept the bike’s bottom bracket low to increase stability, but high enough to use it with 650b wheels if that’s your preference.
We’ve equipped the Diverge with plenty of mounts for carrying gear, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can carry whatever you need, no matter how far you plan to go or how long you plan to be out.
Nothing unlocks a bike’s capability like tire clearance, so we’ve given the new Diverge a massive 47mm tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive-side chainstay that uses a solid carbon beam behind the chainrings, we’ve created the clearance without using a low chainstay design or increasing the chainstay length.
