Linear press bearing service tool set, designed to service all hub and suspension bearing applications.
This kit includes two length-specific press rods designed specifically for hub or suspension applications, a pair of interchangeable coating quick handles along with a complete set of bearing guides and receiver cups to ensure efficient and precise bearing removal and installation.
The linear bearing press uses the same 29-degree angled Acme thread design found in high-precision applications such as spindle units for CNC machines. This design results in increasingly wider thread bases that have greater strength and overall durability. Most importantly, this thread design is much more precise than standard V-shaped threads and provides an exact 90-degree force for perfect bearing seating and installation alignment.
Unlike other bearing press products available that specify a flat bushing or no bearing, each linear press rod features a static nut equipped with a set of precision needle bearings with ground surfaces to provide smooth, precise, and jam-free action.
Finally, the Linear Quick handles are like small transformers where you can combine two short handles for tight spaces, two longer handles for greater leverage, or long and short handles for control. These 6061 alloy handles fit 15 mm (or 5/8) stainless steel nuts, which can also be worked with socket or open-end wrenches, or if you prefer working with Allen keys, that option is machined into the end of each handle as well.
