The biggest innovation of the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Specialized 2025 is GENIE. This patent-pending air shock technology we invented fulfills the three wishes of any rider: the feel and control of a spring, better bottom-out prevention than a standard air shock, and an adjustable "platform" for a playful ride.
GENIE combines the linear spring rate of a coil spring, improving control in the "bump zone", with the progressive spring rate of an air spring at the end of the travel to prevent bottoming out. Truly, it’s the best of both worlds, coil and air, with more adjustability. Say goodbye to compromises and hello to the future of riding: With 16.3% better bump force management than a traditional air shock, GENIE makes the Stumpy 15 ride like a longer-travel bike. For example, the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Specialized 2025 (with 145mm rear wheel travel) and our Enduro (170mm travel) use 101mm of travel to absorb a 1080N bump force.
